Stream: Brandy’s Holiday Album ‘Christmas with Brandy’

Published: Friday 10th Nov 2023 by Rashad

Years of calls for Brandy to unwrap a holiday album were answered when the R&B diva delivered ‘Christmas with Brandy’ on Friday (November 10).

Amply teased before being officially announced in October, the Motown Records-reared era was kicked off by the romantic yuletide single ‘Christmas Party for Two‘ just a week ago.

Boasting only one feature (her daughter Sy’rai), ‘Christmas with Brandy’ comes as a 12-track affair that sees the GRAMMY winner take center stage with 6 original festive tunes as well as the reimagining of seasonal favorites like ‘Jingle Bells,’ ‘Someday at Christmas,’ ‘Deck the Halls,’ and more.

Stream the LP inside in full courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.

The album drops just days before Brandy’s highly anticipated holiday film, ‘Best Christmas Ever,’ premieres on Netflix. Click here to see the trailer.

This is now brandy’s second album since Monica announced trenches last decade. Where is Trenches??

Monica is carefully crafting a masterpiece. She’d never release some junk like this. Don’t forget Brandy is a murdering flop.

Wow I didn’t know Brandy was dropping an Xmas album. This seems right up her lane vocally. I’ll check it out.

Vocal bible never misses. Her Artistry’ ever evolving

Cute. 1st single was the best pick.

Her vocals are too breathy and instrumentals and background harmonies are overpowering her voice far too much. I miss the days when Brandy used to SING in addition to the harmonies and other intricacies that she’s known for. There are some highlights on this album like The Christmas Song, Christmas Everyday and Feels Different but imo the vocals could have been stronger. Lashawn Daniels would have brought that out of her.
