As the Pop diva’s long-awaited memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ continues to shatter book sales records, readers continue to impatiently await an official response from her chart-topping ex Justin Timberlake (who is slammed repeatedly in the autobiography).
And while he’s remained mum about the topic, someone who’s making headlines for a less-than-favorable response is Timbaland.
Famous for producing hits for the likes of Michael Jackson, Missy Elliott, Beyonce, Aaliyah, Brandy, and many others over the last 30 years, Tim’s most popular work may be attached to Timberlake with whom he not only shares musical credits with on smashes like ‘SexyBack’ and ‘Cry Me a River’ but also considers a close friend.
Contributing to the “Sounds Architects: A Producer Conversation” panel recently, the GRAMMY-winning producer fielded an audience member question about the negative impact Spears’ ‘Woman’ is having on Justin.
“I wanted to call and say, ‘JT, you gotta put a muzzle on that girl’s mouth,’” he joked while chatting at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Later in the convo, Tim suggested Brit was using the former NSYNC leader for clout.
“You know what? We live in the age of social media and … everybody want[s] to go viral. I get it because that’s the way you make money [is to] go viral,” he relayed.
Ouch! Needless to say, the controversial commentary sent his name to trending status – and right on to the sh*tlist of diehard Britney fans.

He’s always been bitter about Britney ever since she rejected his proposal to produce her Blackout album in favor of his protégé Danja.

Britney’s “deranged” behavior stems from the abuse she suffered from many people in the industry and in her life INCLUDING Justin. Why should he get a pass?
