Tyla may be enjoying a history-making run on the Billboard Hot 100 with her breakout single, ‘Water,’ but she’s far from resting on her laurels.

Just days after taking to the net to tease the chart-topping tune’s successor, ‘On & On,’ the South African hitmaker gave the new song the live treatment courtesy of a visit to ‘A Colors Show.’

Taking to Instagram on Thursday (November 30), Tyla ended her eventful month with the unveiling of the official artwork set to accompany her self-titled debut album (seen above).

“Everything that’s happening has surpassed anything I could have dreamt of,” she wrote to her 2.8 million followers on the platform. “African music is going global and I’m so blessed to be one of the artists pushing the culture. I’ve been working on my sound for 2 years now and I’m so ready for the world to hear it. I cannot wait for the world to experience an African Popstar.”

While she did not confirm the LP’s release date, rumors have it ‘Tyla’ will circle to shelves in March 2024.

Until she delivers official word about its delivery date, the 21-year-old whet appetites with a tease of three songs from the forthcoming effort: ‘On & On,’ ‘Butterflies,’ and ‘Truth or Dare.’

She has what it takes to be a popstar but is she going to work hard toward that goal is the question? Hopefully she does not follow Normani’s career trajectory.
