Nicki Minaj has unleashed ‘Pink Friday 2’ – her fifth album.

Led by ‘Super Freaky Girl’  the album sees Minaj mature in many ways.

That Grape Juice has been spinning the LP since its release. Join us below to find out which five tracks are essential on ‘Pink Friday 2.’

5. My Life

Nicki Minaj samples Blondie’s ‘Heart of Glass’ to maximum effect as she offers a peak behind the curtain of her life.

4. Cowgirl

Minaj brings along Lourdiz for a sensual song that offers fans of indie-pop Nicki what they have been asking for.

3. Super Freaky Girl

The most pop song on the project is also one of the best. Minaj samples Rick James and offers a perfect blend of recognizable instrumentals but with a fresh take only Nicki can deliver.

2. Red Ruby Da Sleeze

With 22 tracks ‘Pink Friday 2’ can be a bit bloated at times and sluggish, but Nicki is her most focused and direct on this takedown track of the haters. Delivering some of her best bars in years, it is a true standout on the album.

1. Are You Gone Already

The first sounds on ‘Pink Friday 2’ is Nicki playing with her son, setting the tone for the track. Sampling Billie Eilish’s ‘When The Party’s Over,’ Minaj is at her most vulnerable and profound, offering a side to her that has not been seen previously.

For those who were craving another pop-rap anthem like Super Bass there’s Everybody & Pink Friday Girls. I know many peeps were hoping for tracks like Starships and Pound The Alarm but I think she choose to cut down off those because they were really pop and might’ve wanted a balance of urban, hip-hop & pop.

(LMAO if any of the other girls released this album they would be scalped!)
