Christmas is coming early for fans of Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande (#Arianators), and Mariah Carey (#Lambs) as they unwrapped the ultimate surprise – a live performance of their collective holiday hit ‘Oh Santa.’

The trio of chart-topping divas left jaws ajar with the first live performance of the festive number during Mariah’s New York City stop of the ‘Merry Christmas One & All Tour‘ on Saturday night (December 9).
Rocking the roof off of Madison Square Garden, the soaring showing comes as a reunion for the GRAMMY winners who stunned their respective fan bases in 2020 with the original news of the ‘Oh Santa’ remix.
After all was said and done, MC took to Twitter to show love to Ari and J.Hud.

Where do I begin…..Whew Lord……well first they are all VERY talented singers and won’t dare take that away. However, to have such amazing talent on one stage and still have such a dull performance is crazy to me. Mariah shows already lack excitement because it’s simply her standing stiff on stage with a bunch of dancers around her. I just feel if you can’t dance or do anything special for audience interest, then you got to find something. Very few artists can stand on stage and just sing (i.e Celine, Adele, Whitney). Jennifer definitely brings the base but it’s like c’mon 3 of you and it still lacks energy? And someone PLEASE check on Ariana Grande, she has always been thing, but she’s battling something still. I hope she is ok!

Ariana wasn’t even audible. Mariah is comfortable not doing a lot of vocal lifting which I’m okay with. Jennifer held it down.
They relied on the poor audio track background. Should have had live background singers.
MOST artists stand and sing on stage. Mariah just doesn’t have stage presence. It always seems like she’s in her head or trying too hard.

“Let’s Fix This” — your comment above doesn’t make sense for the people who were there. The Christmas concert was fire throughout, and that moment with the 3 ladies was magic. We go to MC’s concerts for her and do not expect a Beyonce choreographed routine..duh!
I loved how Mariah changed the climax whistle at the ad lib. When you have J-hud and Mariah there, it’s hard for Ariana to keep up, vocally, but they all did amazing, regardless!
