Ahead of the January 29 kickoff of his ‘New Blue Sun Tour,’ rapper-flautist Andre 3000 took to ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ on Tuesday (January 23) to give future concertgoers a preview of what they can expect on the Stateside trek.

Lifting a live rendition of ‘New Blue Sun‘ fan favorite ‘That Night in Hawaii When I Turned into a Panther and Started Making These Low Register Purring Tones That I Couldn’t Control…Sh¥t Was Wild,’ the OutKast frontman was joined by the likes of lauded instrumentalists Carlos Niño, Nate Mercereau, Surya Botofasina, and Deantoni Parks.

Did you miss the action when it first aired? No worries; we’ve got you covered.

Elsewhere during the visit Andre chatted about the inspiration behind temporarily ditching Rap for the flute and so much more.
