‘Over and Over’ singer Kim Burrell has found herself making headlines again for delivering what many are deeming a problematic sermon.
The embattled icon, who infamously endured backlash in the past for publicly condemning the LGBTQ+ community, later found herself on the defense for slamming fellow Gospel diva Yolanda Adams and dissing unattractive churchgoers.

In a clip that’s made its rounds by the thousands across Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and beyond, a recent worship service saw Burrell singing the classic ‘Thank You Lord’ to close her sermon.

After one attendee didn’t seem to get the message, Kim singled her out.

Once social media critics turned the Gospel diva every way but loose with their commentary on the matter, Burrell quickly turned to her own page to clear up the confusion.

Later explaining that some people don’t understand the difference between “Kim the singer” and “Kim the preacher,” the ‘Try Me Again’ performer concluded the woman’s vocal performance was too distracting.

Who is this lady… she’s no Yolanda, Tamala or Mary Mary. Only time she trends is relating to controversy. If the God y’all serve condones that I’m not interested!
She, Boosie, and LNX seem to have controversy written in their stars.
If nothing else, Kim Burrell is hilarious!! …”it’s a solo don’t sing with me… let that mask work for you” hahaha!!!
I’m not mad at her because some church folk need that smoke. They simply do too much. There’s always one that ignores the warnings and over steps boundaries.
Wowwwww so worshipping while singing along to a hymn is doing too much now… and yall wonder why churches all over are dying.
Kim is an ogre with a velvet throat.
First and far most that’s NOT a solo that is a congregation song. Second she was not letting the lord use her that was the devil and third she should’ve wanted some one to help her sing because that rattling she does someone else may help. She’s very arrogant we go to the same nail salon. I walked in and there was this lady sitting with her head covered completely up I looked and went ahead with my nail tech so later on after she left the nail tech told me who she was and she said” she doesn’t want anyone to know who she was because she’s a celebrity” baby when I tell you I laughed I told her you should’ve asked her when was her last concert or appearance somewhere. 😂😂
I’ve been using cbd gummies for stress for across two years today, and the knowledge has been transformative. CBD unguent has markedly improved my snooze quality and reduced my dread levels. The edibles are a commodious and enjoyable passage to mix CBD into my commonplace routine. I appreciate the natural approach to wellness that CBD offers, and I’ve sagacious no adverse side effects. Highly approve representing those seeking a sensible alternative to unwritten medications.
