Renee Rapp Says She’s a “True Megan Thee Stallion Supporter” & Hates That “Sorry A**” Tory Lanez

Published: Tuesday 9th Jan 2024 by Rashad

‘Mean Girls: the Musical’ star Renee Rapp is keeping it all the way real about her friendship with Megan Thee Stallion.

In addition to collaborating on the song ‘Not My Fault‘ for the film’s official soundtrack, the music superstars have developed a mutual admiration that stems beyond professional – a stance that’s been reiterated all week as the two have been hot on the promo trail for the movie’s January 12 premiere.

If there’s ever any doubt how close the two have gotten, however, Rapp made headlines recently when she went all the way there in support of her GRAMMY-winning gal pal.

Rapp joined ‘Girls’ co-star Christopher Briney recently for an interview with our buds at ‘Extra TV’ to discuss everything from the differences between the flick’s iconic 2004 version and the musical to the challenges of filming, expectations, and so much more.

When quizzed about her relationship with Stallion, Renee launched into a praise session.

“[Megan has] the best a** I’ve ever seen in my life,” Rapp shared before later relaying, “she’s the coolest and I’m such a huge fan of hers.”

And while she stood firmly in her support of Megan the 24-year-old singer-actress definitely made it clear who she doesn’t support: embattled Hip-Hop hitmaker Tory Lanez.

“I’m a true Meg supporter and I hate that other man, so I love Megan Thee Stallion. If anybody tries her when it comes to that sorry a** man it’s a ‘do or die’ fight for me,” Rapp said before sharing she stands “ten toes” for the rapstress.

Fans of Lanez know the Canadian hitmaker lost his second appeal bid in late 2023 after being sentenced for charges stemming from shooting Meg in 2020.

At wriring, Meg nor Lanez have responded to Renee’s comments.

Chile, Becky saying what she need to say just like every other white singer before her did about black folk to help them get on. This is the formula. Fake it till you make it.

I 100% agree but I don’t get why you’d bring Midget Lamez if he wasn’t mentioned. just focus on Megan
