Lil Mama is speaking out on her infamous 2009 MTV VMAs moment where she crashed Jay-Z and Alicia Keys‘ performance.

At the end of Jay-Z and Keys’ performance of ‘Empire State of Mind,’ Lil Mama ran on stage despite Beyonce trying to stop it. Now, Lil Mama is reflecting on that moment.
“I had to deal with Ed Lover on the radio in the morning, Wendy Williams, Angie Martinez, who talked to Jay, and he was just like, ‘Yeah, you know. I didn’t like it.’ He was so angry and I was just trying my best to do everything I could do,” she told The Jay Hill Podcast.
“After a while, I was like, ‘Forgive yourself, bro. Move forward. Bro, I was hurt. I was depressed. I was like, ‘Yo, what’s going on?’ And then you got everybody telling you, ‘You’re doing bad.’ People pointing at you, like, ‘What did you do?’” she continued.
Lil Mama said that it took her some time to bounce back mentally and she realized how “blessed” she is compared to what other people have gone through.

Why is she crying and calling this a traumatic event as though Jay-Z and Alicia Keys came down into the audience and dragged her up on the stage against her will, when she actually pranced her ass up there, so uninvited that even Beyonce tried to stop her, all on her own, for reasons that still don’t make no sense?
Them people you look up to Lil Mama is evil reincarnated, they destroyed your career because you weren’t powerful enough and didn’t have anyone to stand up for you.
Hasn’t she done this multiple times already?
She should just move on. If you release good music people will forget all this mess, yet you keep bringing it up.
