Serving as the songbird’s seventh studio effort, the ‘yes, and?’ led LP has been hotly anticipated and its release was greeted with seismic streams. Especially on Spotify, where it’s bulldozed a major streaming record.

According to Hits Daily Double, ‘eternal sunshine’ is set to glow atop the Billboard 200 tally with first week-sales of:
165,000-185,000 Units
The sum sits in the relative ballpark of Grande’s previous launches: 2020’s ‘Positions’ premiered at #1 with 174,0000, 2018’s ‘Sweetener’ started at #1 with 231,000, 2016’s ‘Dangerous Woman’ debuted at #2 with 175,000, and 2014’s ‘My Everything’ launched #1 with 160,000.
To date, Grande’s highest opening is 2018’s ‘Thank U, Next’ – which rode in at #1 with 360,000 in 2019.
Decent numbers but one thing Ariana isn’t doing is attracting NEW FANS.
