Tyla‘s debut album is already conquering the charts.

On the latest update of the Apple Music charts, the South African singer’s self-titled debut album has blasted into the top 5. The project currently sits at #5.
It is only behind albums by Future and Metro Boomin, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande and Hozier.
‘Tyla’ was preceded by the breakout chart-topping single ‘Water,’ which became a top 10 hit in the United States and went on to win the singer a Grammy Award.
The project dropped on March 22 and That Grape Juice created a list of the 5 best tracks found on ‘Tyla.’

The album has a nice chill vibe but doesn’t live up to the hype, imo.
I don’t see it doing more than 20K SPS. She doesn’t have an identity outside of Water. It’s giving flop….
