New Video: Dua Lipa – ‘Illusion’

It’s here! Dua Lipa has unleashed her brand new single ‘Illusion.’

The high-octane cut is lifted from the Pop starlet’s third studio album, ‘Radical Optimism’ (due May 3 via Warner Records).

Arriving as the follow-up to ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season,’ the track lands alongside its colorful music video.

With summer nigh, the GRAMMY winner fittingly serves up a visual that sun, water, and slick choreography.

    The Kylie Minogue influences in this video… The pool scene is literally almost exactly the same as the video for ‘Slow’. Outfit, body movements, setting, background and all.

    I respect Dua Lipa’s effort and how she’s improved since her debut. She has a lane and regularly creates content for her fans. But this is only marginally better than training season. Sort of basic though like I wonder how her future eras will differ. There’s no innovation here. It’s giving more 70s/80s aerobics DVD. Maybe that’s her thing? Her voice is distinctive though, so that’s a plus. It’s a shame she doesn’t have more vocal range.
