In a series on snaps from the event that Lizzo shared to her social media account, she says that if she does not make the best dressed list that makes it “fatphobic .”
“If I’m not in ur best dressed, ur fatphobic,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
People were not too happy with Lizzo’s words and many took issue with what she had to say.
“Im not fatphobic I just dont like the headpiece,” one person said.
“Lizzo i love you soooo much but this look wasn’t it,” read another comment.
“Not fatphlbic at all. Just confused a bit by the lewk,” someone else said.
Lizzo has not responded to the criticism at this point.

And this is her problem. She wants to be something that she’s not. Then she gets frustrated when the world doesn’t view her through the same lens that she views herself. She needs to be reminded that we love Lizzo for her music and that’s where she should focus her energy.
