Eminem has re-cemented his status as one of Hip-Hop’s most enduring royals.

For, the rapper has flown straight in at #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart with his new release ‘Houdini.’

Full story below…

With the latest iteration of the coveted count revealed it brings with it confirmation that Slim Shady has nabbed his 11th UK chart-topper.

He pulled off the feat with a whopping 104,800 units (much of which was generated by way of an enormous 13.3 million streams).

Serving as the lead offering from the superstar’s forthcoming album ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),’ the out-of-the-gate win is major on multiple fronts.

Indeed, it marks the MC’s first UK #1 since 2020’s ‘Godzilla’ featuring the late Juice WRLD.

‘Houdini’ becomes Eminem’s first fully solo UK #1 single in 19 years; his last (before now) was 2002’s ‘Like Toy Soldiers.’

The track’s visual delivers the biggest opening week of UK video streams (4 million) since Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’ in 2021 (4.58 million).

There’s more.

‘Houdini’ nabs the star his biggest opening week since’ Without Me’ debuted at#1 in 2002. Aptly, ‘Without Me’ also returns to the Top 40 for the first time in 19 years – rocketing in at #38.

No stranger to controversy, Eminem’s chart triumph comes after receiving ample backlash for remarks made in the song about Megan Thee Stallion.

‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)’ arrives this summer.
