Iconic Beyonce songs are getting their own spin thanks to emerging Black artists.
More details below…
Apple Music has rounded out Black Music Month with the release of ‘Apple Music Nashville Sessions: Beyoncé Covered.’ The collection of songs features many of Beyonce’s hits reimagined by Black country artists on the rise.
These artists include Tiera Kennedy, BRELAND, and Joy Oladokun among others. BRELAND took on ‘Sandcastles’ from Beyonce’s career-defining ‘Lemonade’ album while Brittney Spencer took on ‘Irreplaceable.’
Joy Oladokun decided to do a more recent Beyonce cut with ‘II Most Wanted’ while Madeline Edwards chose a classic with ‘Halo.’
Tanner Adell covered the steamy ‘Drunk In Love’ and Tiera Kennedy chose the more romantic ‘1+1.’
