‘City Cinderella,’ the debut solo mixtape from City Girls star and ‘Okay‘ hitmaker JT, did better than okay on this week’s Billboard 200 – marking a milestone for the Miami femcee in the process.
Just two months after watching ‘Okay’ become her breakout and highest-charting solo single on the Hot 100 to date, the tune’s parent project – ‘City Cinderella’ – was crowned with similar success.
Coming as the top placement of her career yet (including her efforts with City Girls), here are the numbers that powered the placement.
JT’s ‘City Cinderella’
First-Week sales (SPS): 27,400
First-Week sales (Pure): 170
First-Week Billboard 200 Position: #27
What’s more, ‘Cinderella’ was crowned the week’s highest-charting new project by a woman (regardless of genre) on this week’s Billboard 200 thanks to its #27 opening.
Among all rappers, the only previously uncharted effort to be printed higher was Childish Gambino‘s final album ‘Bando Stone and the New World‘ (#16).

Happy for her too! Just work smarter, not harder. Leave the beefing alone and build a brand that attracts endorsement deals.
