While for some music lovers the name Sabrina Carpenter only began ringing a bell after the rising Pop diva captured two of 2024’s songs of the summer with her recent hits ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please, Please, Please,’ many know the award-winning songstress has been on the grind for the last 10 years – building a dedicated fan base with her own songs and the covers of other prominent artists.
Among the tunes getting the Carpenter take was Jazmine Sullivan‘s modern classic ‘In Love with Another Man‘ – a favorite from her 2008 debut album ‘Fearless.’
And while Sabrina’s version of ‘Another Man’ isn’t exactly new, a resurfaced clip of the cover somehow made its way to the desk of another R&B diva who couldn’t help but gush over the performance.

GRAMMY-winning songstress SZA recently made headlines for announcing she was taking a hiatus from the music scene – a break that clearly sees her enjoying leisure time scrolling social media.
Recently stumbling across the resurfaced ‘Another Man’ cover, the ‘Snooze‘ singer suggested she’d clearly been sleeping on Sabrina’s abilities.
“Wait huh !??????? Am I crazy for not know she got down like this,” SZA wrote in an Instagram comment.
The comment garnered quite the feedback on social media with many calling for her to collaborate with the ‘Espresso’ hitmaker.
At the time of this report, however, Carpenter hasn’t responded to the hoopla around SZA’s praise but it certainly hasn’t stopped fans of both singers from hoping, wishing, and praying they share some studio time soon.
