K. Dot is officially the next artist to top the billing for the most coveted stage of stages.
The Compton-reared rapper will rock the Halftime Show on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Speaking on the gargantuan gig, the 37-year-old (who previously performed at Halftime as part of the 2022 ensemble alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige) said in a statement:
“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
Lamar follows on from this year’s headliner Usher and joins an elite list of names to have performed on the world-renowned platform including Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce, Madonna, and Lady Gaga.
The news comes after the superstar topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the seismic smash ‘Not Like Us.’
