As reported, Swift was named the #2 pick on the industry juggernaut’s tally of the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century.

Yet, in the congratulatory montage tallying all of Swift’s achievements, a clip of her in mannequin form that Kanye West used in his 2016 ‘Famous’ visual was featured. The pair were famously feuding at the time and it was widely considered as a slight.

Following an outcry from the Swifties on social media, Billboard issued an apology via X (Twitter). It read:

“We are deeply sorry to Taylor Swift and all of our readers and viewers that in a video celebrating Swift’s achievements, we included a clip that falsely depicted her. We have removed the clip from our video and sincerely regret the harm we caused with this error.”
