Christmas came early for fans of Victoria Monét with the unexpected news her GRAMMY-winning album ‘Jaguar II‘ would be getting repackaged as a holiday effort.
Titled ‘A Jaguar II Christmas: The Orchestral Arrangements,’ the 8-song set – delivered December 11 – is a fully instrumental collection helmed by producer extraordinaire D’Mile and conductor Maurice “Pirahnahead” Herd alongside his Soulchestra string orchestra.
Beyond reimagining fan favorites from ‘Jaguar II: Deluxe‘ like ‘On My Mama’ and ‘D*ckAtNight,’ ‘Jaguar Christmas’ boasts original cuts as well.
We’ve already elevated the project to holiday staple status here at TGJ HQ. After giving it a spin via Apple Music and Spotify inside, we’re sure you’ll do the same.

I cant figure out how this happened, but we’ve been bamboozled into thinking this young lady is special. And i feel confident in saying that no one cares….at all about her, her husband or her career. I blame the grammy hype a few years back.
We don’t have to like everything she does but it’s okay to admit that she does have some gems in her catalogue.
Its not that so doesnt have in “gems” or rhat so not talented. Its not that at all. The grammy nominations were announced, and she exploded like the next coming of Jesus. It was 100% hype. And i am not trying to be mean, but NO one cares. She had all that hype surrounding that SOS song with Usher, and crickets. This jaguar II album that no nobody bought is now being A Christmas version? That no onè will buy. Even that on my mama song is not that great. As someone mentioned , she is better behind the scenes as a writer.
She is better behind the scenes as a writer and producer.
The kids rather have a lump of coal for Christmas.
