Thanks to her breakout 2023 sophomore album, ‘Jaguar II,’ singer-songwriter Victoria Monet has pounced to her first GRAMMY award.

Beyond making headlines for being dominated by women like SZA, Taylor Swift, and Coco Jones overall, the biggest surprise undoubtedly came via the 7 nods given to Victoria for work found aboard her latest album, ‘Jaguar II,’ and its breakout single ‘On My Mama.’

Among the nominations was Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical), which Monet’s LP captured by defeating ‘History,’ ‘Desire, I Want to Turn Into You,’ ‘Multitudes,’ and ‘The Record.’

As a listed engineer, Vickie will be receiving one of the trophies; the win comes as the first of her career.

Check out the full winner’s list to see who else took home a golden gramophone.
