While the music world is still reeling from the 2024 death of Quincy Jones, one of history’s greatest producers, the GRAMMYs are preparing to salute his life and legacy with a star-studded tribute at Sunday’s ceremony (February 2).
As part of a series of special performances at this year’s GRAMMYS including tributes to the resilient spirit of Los Angeles after the devastating wildfires and a toast to Jones, the ceremony’s 67th annual edition is calling on some of the industry’s biggest names to perform including Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, and Stevie Wonder.
They join an already megawatt performers’ roster that included superstar acts like Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, Teddy Swims, and more (as reported here).
Hosted by Trevor Noah, ‘Music’s Biggest Night’ will broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and CBS.

Like when Bobbie Kristina told BET they didn’t tribute Whitney until after she died.
Bobbi Kristina
Mmm…
Kamala’s tribute too… 🙂
2010 BET Honors: Houston received the BET Honors Award for entertainer. Jennifer Hudson and Kim Burrell performed songs in her honor.
STILL. NOT A TRIBUTE SHOW LIKE BOBBI SAID
THEN AFTER WHITNEY DIED
2012 BET Awards: BET held a tribute to Houston at the 2012 BET Awards, including a performance by her mother, Cissy Houston. Ashanti also attended the tribute.
FOR BET to not have a tribute for whitney until after she died in 2012 was f***** up
