As predicted, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have captured yet another week atop the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to the ongoing success of their blockbuster duet ‘Die with a Smile.’
Holding hits from Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, and Shaboozey at bay for yet another frame, ‘Smile’ is definitely giving its creators a reason to do just that thanks to a third consecutive week at #1 on the all-genre chart.
Here are the numbers that powered the placement.
- Streaming: 29 million U.S.-based streams
- Sales: 6,000 digital downloads
- Radio airplay: 62 million audience impressions
While the ascent to the top spot came as a historic move for Gaga and Mars overall, retention of the position has come as a personal milestone for each.
For Bruno, the reign now marks his longest since the jaw-dropping run of 2014’s ‘Uptown Funk!’ which stayed at #1 for 14 weeks at the height of its popularity.
Lady, on the other hand, hasn’t been in the pole position for this long since 2011’s ‘Born This Way’ remained the chart leader for 6 weeks.
‘Uptown’ and ‘Born’ are still their respective longest-reigning Hot 100 toppers.

Congrats! 🎉 love to see DWAS dethroning that annoying black bar song💅🏽 #TRUMP MAGA
FLOP
Thank god I haven’t heard that song once. I’m sure it’s trash ☺️
Old Gags should thank Bruno for giving her a hit
