Though going off without a hitch in many regions, the tour has been marred by previous postponements and the star’s legal troubles.
Now, another issue has arisen.
Taking to social media, Timberlake confirmed that illness forced him to pull the plug on the show in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena.
The statement, which was issued less than an hour before showtime, read:
“You guys, I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight. I went into soundcheck battling the flu and now it’s gotten the best of me. It kills me to disappoint you and my team who worked so hard to make this show happen. I want to reassure you, you’ll be getting refunds for your tickets. I love you all.”
‘The Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ is set to move on to Latin America in March.
