‘Open Your Heart‘ hitmaker Madonna was likely shocked to open social media and see herself on the receiving end of criticism after taking to Instagram to criticize President Donald Trump on Thursday (February 20).
I thought this country was built by
Europeans, escaping living under the rule of a King, to establish a New World governed by the people.

Having made headlines in the past for slamming the businessman-turned-politician, the Pop Queen is no stranger to landing on the wrong side of his supporters.
This time, however, she got double the disses after she took to Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) to weigh in on a fake ‘TIME‘ magazine cover posted on the White House’s official social channels.
“I thought this country was built by Europeans, escaping living under the rule of a King, to establish a New World governed by the people,” she wrote in response to the White House tweet that referred to Trump as “the King.” “Currently, we have a president who calls himself our King. If this is a joke, I’m not laughing.”
While some applauded Madge’s brazen take on the post, others criticized her for disregarding the contribution of Native Americans and enslaved Africans to the fundament of the USA.
