Kendrick Lamar and SZA have done it again—securing their spot at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a third consecutive week with ‘luther.’
Full story below…
The collaboration, which salutes late R&B legend Luther Vandross, continues to dominate the charts, proving the track’s immense popularity.
‘luther’ – which is housed on K.Dot’s ‘GNX’ album – crosses a major milestone for both artists.
Lamar ties his longest reign at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, a record he previously set with his hit ‘Not Like Us,’ which reigned for three nonconsecutive weeks between May 2024 and February 2025.
Meanwhile, ‘luther’ extends its record as SZA’s longest #1. Previously, she had topped the charts for a week twice in 2023 – as a featured artist on Drake’s ‘Slime You Out‘ and with her hit, ‘Kill Bill.’
This tracking week (Feb. 28-Mar. 6, 2025), the song earned:
- 34.2 million official streams
- 53.9 million radio airplay audience impressions
- 3,000 digital downloads
The news comes as the duo prepares to launch their highly anticipated ‘Grand National Tour.’
