Mark Morrison‘s return to the spotlight is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. For, this weekend, the R&B singer was arrested in Florida following a fiery altercation at an upscale Palm Beach restaurant.

According to TMZ, Morrison burst into Le Bar a Vin on Saturday night (March 22), furiously confronting the general manager over a previously discussed event. Witnesses claim the exchange turned physical when Morrison allegedly shoved the manager in the upper body during the heated argument.
Staff quickly de-escalated the situation, asking Morrison to leave the premises. However, with enough witness accounts, police charged the UK singer with simple battery.
Morrison was escorted in handcuffs wearing a black skirt, khaki shorts, and eye-catching yellow shoes. His mugshot, later taken in a standard-issue blue jumpsuit, shows him flashing a faint smile.
He was released Sunday morning after posting a $1,000 bond.
