It’s been two decades since Will Smith fans could boast having a new album from the rapper-actor, but the wait for a new collection of tunes came to a close with the arrival of ‘Based on a True Story‘ on Friday (March 28).
Released through Slang Recordings, the 14-track effort comes as a star-studded affair boasting appearances from big names like Teyana Taylor, Big Sean, Joyner Lucas, Russ, Smith’s longtime collaborator DJ Jazzy Jeff, and even his son Jaden.
Preceded to chart battle by singles ‘You Can Make It,’ ‘Beautiful Scars,’ ‘Work of Art,’ and ‘Tantrum,’ the ‘Summertime‘ hitmaker will support the project by launching an international tour slated for a summertime kickoff.
