Amerie may have once teased taking her debut album, 2002’s ‘All I Have,‘ on the road for an anniversary tour, but instead the ‘1 Thing‘ hitmaker is doing the next best thing: helping fellow R&B diva Keyshia Cole celebrate hers.
As reported, the 2x GRAMMY nominee was among the megawatt stars added to Cole’s star-studded lineup for her current ‘The Way It Is: 20th Anniversary Tour‘ that’s been storming North America.
Amerie joins a roster that now includes Keri Hilson, Lil Kim, Tink, Fridayy, Wale, Jeremih, Elijah Blake, and – of course – Cole.
The announcement dropped the same day the ‘Touch‘ performer touched down on the ‘Tamron Hall Show‘ (May 21) to discuss her new album (the official follow-up to 2009’s ‘In Love & War’), new single ‘Mine,’ balancing motherhood with her musical comeback, that jaw-dropping ‘Coachella’ performance, and so much more.
