Britney Spears found herself in hot water mid-flight this week, after a jet ride from Cabo to LAX turned turbulent and not because of the weather.

According to TMZ, the Pop icon lit up a cigarette on board the private JSX flight after reportedly drinking with her security team.
Flight attendants were quick to shut it down, ordering her to extinguish the cigarette, which she did, though sources say she was “difficult.”
Upon landing, Spears was met by authorities and issued a warning for her conduct, but was ultimately allowed to leave without incident. LAX police said they didn’t respond, but it appears Customs handled the matter.
JSX has to say? They said:

Behind the scenes, some in Spears’ circle are reportedly raising eyebrows. One source claimed:

The flight attendant called officials because I smoked a cigarette !!! And embarrass me which jeez I thought was kinda much but she didn’t like me the moment I got on plane !!! Nobody was on the plane for first 20 minutes and she wouldn’t let me get out of my seat I wanted to stand up !!! She acted so weird about making sure I sat down and it was weird !!!
