The bond between Justin Bieber and longtime manager Scooter Braun has ben the subject of speculation. Especially after they severed the ties of their years-long managerial pact.

Now, a new report is delving into why.

Full details below…

According to a new TMZ investigation airing May 14 on FOX, a financial fallout is touted as torpedoing

Per sources, Bieber abruptly ended his ‘Justice’ tour in 2022 and it’s claimed he was $24 million in debt to promoter AEG. Why? Because he allegedly received a received a $40 million  advance for the tour and he was broke. Or, at least in the context of not being able to pay back the seismic sum.

Scooter’s company Hybe stepped in, covered the bill, and Bieber signed a 10-year payback agreement — but allegedly only made one payment before pressing pause.

It’s claimed that Bieber’s camp believed Scooter had pocketed $26 millions in excessive commissions, presumably meaning the belief was that nothing was therefore owed.

However, an independent audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) found the opposite, with the ‘Baby’ hitmaker allegedly owing Scooter $8.8 million.

While Scooter reportedly waived $1 million early on, the rift had already widened and only added to the tension.

The documentary promises even more tea on Bieber’s finances, mental health, and what this means for his future in music.
