Mariah Carey has new music on the way, and she’s cooking it up with rumored boyfriend Anderson . Paak.
And the news was confirmed firsthand by the ‘Leave The Door Open’ hitmaker himself.

Reports have been rolling in about the pair being romantically involved after being spotted together several times in recent months.
The stars have kept mum on that front, however, they are doubling down on the initial suggestion that their union was work-related.
During an appearance on the Track Stars Show, Paak (who was rocking a Mimi t-shirt) was tasked with guessing a song. It ultimately ended up being Mimi’s 1995 smash ‘Always Be My Baby,’ at which point he said:
“I remember like fifth grade or something, watching the music video, just having a huge crush.”
When quizzed about whether they have any fresh material incoming, he shared:
“We’re working on some new music. On her new album.”

Carey’s yet-to-be-titled project will serve as her 16th studio album and her first since 2018’s ‘Caution.’
As a long time fan of Mariah, I like her working with Anderson because it can freshen up her sound. I’m over the Jermaine Dupri Recycled songs and her corny music with The-Dream. Hopefully this could leave to Bruno Mars Colab!
I definitely hope they arent dating BUT am overjoyed that they are working on music. His sound will be something fresh and mature for her!

Music yes. She is one of those once in a lifetime vocalists like Whitney and Aretha. A rarely gifted talent. Go back to her 1st album. The vocals are seismic!!!!And then some. One of the GOATS of singing.
Dating I hope not. He is an immense talent. One of an extreme few I’d listen to. On record and live. The other with unreal talent is Chris brown. Both of their constant cursing and evil mouth plus breaking up his marriage is a HUGE turn off personally.
