The same JLo who’s recent arena tour was canceled due to low ticket sales? That’s washed up. Janet grossed over $100m with her tour, and now she has a residency. Nearly 50 years into her career 🤭
Yea Janets performance felt like she totally phoned it in. She wasn’t even dancing full out it was like she was being super careful with her footwork moves instead of reminding the girls why she’s one of the best dancers to ever do it. If you’re gonna receive an icon award then that’s the time you need to remind folks why you’re not to be messed with when it comes to dancing. Her and jlo are like a year apart and Jennifer’s dancing was milessssss better
Nobody needs reminding about Janet’s iconic status, please believe.
Chile, Janet is about 60. Even Beyonce who is allegedly younger is done with dipping, popping, twerking, and stopping too. Nobody can move like that forever. Knees get old, girl. Janet still that bih.

What did she show us?
Janet and team were casual and laidback…not over the top and ego-driven. I liked the performance and WHY do you guys turn EVERYTHING into competition? JLO’s opening performance (sans the first part) again let everyone know that she is going to work HARD. But, as she even said, she got a huge career push by being chosen by Janet. Nuff said. Gwen was cute, too.
