Carpenter has captured the pole position of the latest Billboard Hot 100 for the second time in her short but storied career.

- Radio airplay = 14 million audience impressions
- Sales = 20,000 digital downloads
Released June 6 as the first single from her forthcoming album ‘Man’s Best Friend‘ (due August 29), ‘Manchild’ marks Sabrina’s second run atop the Hot 100 following 2024’s ‘Please Please Please.’
Co-produced and co-written with Jack Antonoff, the tune comes as the first time since ‘Please’ a woman has ruled over the tally by her lonesome with a nonseasonal track.
Among all female-led tunes printed at #1 in 2025, however, divas Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, SZA, and Tate McRae have all enjoyed time at the all-genre chart’s summit with holiday music or as part of a duet.
