Eminem is stirring the pot once again – this time alongside JID on the Atlanta rapper’s new EP ‘Preluxe’, a prelude to his upcoming album ‘God Does Like Ugly.’

The 4-track release dropped Friday and features 6LACK, Lil Yachty, and Eminem himself, who appears on the standout track ‘Animals (Pt. I).’ Trading rapid-fire bars with JID, Eminem pulls no punches, and one line in particular has fans sounding off. He raps:

“With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin.”

This is a reference to Kanye West’s controversial track ‘Cousins’ where he talks about partaking in incestuous acts with a male cousin. The lyric set off a wave of backlash online. One user questioned the rapper, saying:

“What goes through your mind to say this?”

Another user simply said:

“This is NOT a bar.”

Still, others praised Em’s technical prowess, saying that he “snapped” on the verse.

Suffice it to say that Eminem continues to polarize decades into his career.
