Shot in Ghana, the video follows a magnetic young woman gliding through energetic club scenes and city streets. On the track, Amaarae channels the spirit of late 90s club bangers, speaking on the single to Universal Music Canada, Amaarae shared that:
“I remember being little girl in Ghana hearing ‘Believe by Cher and immediately being entranced… ‘Fineshyt’ is ‘Believe’s’ bad ass play cousin or maybe it’s evil twin sister!”
