The International Music Summit Dubai is back this November for its second edition, and the first wave of speakers has been unveiled.

Co-hosted by BBC Radio 1 legend Pete Tong and Saudi-born, UK-based DJ Nooriyah, the summit is powered by Beatport and will feature global names such as HUGEL, techno titan Nicole Moudaber, Bedouin, Egypt’s Misty, and Lebanese star Rolbac.

Industry leaders, including ADDMIND’s Elie Saba, Beatport’s Sofia Ilyas, and Meta’s Samer Jamal, are also confirmed, while Bicep will premiere their new film ‘TAKKUK’ for MENA audiences.

Tong said of this year’s festival:

“Electronic music here is on an exciting upward trajectory. IMS Dubai provides the perfect backdrop to showcase and celebrate the amazing music and talent emerging from the region.”

Nooriyah added:

“The SWANA region is one of the most inspiring places in electronic music right now… this summit provides a platform to celebrate incredible artists and amplify voices of the region.”

Running November 12–16 across venues including Monkey Bar, Surf Club, and Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience, IMS Dubai is shaping up as a citywide takeover.
