The aftermath of Diddy‘s four-year sentence being handed down has brought with it remarks from corners far and wide.
And now Cassie‘s legal team has weighed in.
As widely reported, the singer’s testimony was crucial to the prosecution’s federal case against the embattled mogul.
And while it didn’t lead to his conviction on the more serious charges he faced, he was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. At sentencing on October 3, presiding judge Arun Subramanian acknowledged Cassie’s experience, telling the court that she had:
“..been through abuse and trauma that most of us cannot imagine. I want to say first, we heard you.”
Now, her lawyer has spoken up and out.
