Muni Long has been forced to pull the plug on multiple scheduled performances on ‘The Boy is Mine Tour’ alongside Brandy and Monica.
And it’s due to an unfortunate illness.

The ‘Made for Me’ GRAMMY winner has been thrilling audiences alongside the duo on the North American leg of the trek, which also features R&B royal Kelly Rowland.
In a statement issued moments ago, she announced that she has to drop out of the Chicago and Kansas City stops of the trek after coming down with pneumonia.

“Chicago & Kansas City, I’m so sorry. I’ve been pushing through since the start of the tour, but unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with pneumonia and under medical advisement I am being told I need to rest and recover. I truly hate that I won’t be able to perform for you, anyone who knows me knows how much I love being on stage and giving my all.
Thank you for your understanding, love, and support it means the world to me.”

What is going on with all these Black women? Is the tour cursed? Guess laziness and mental illness are contagious… just let Kelly took their places and headlining with Monica. That’s it!
Monica has vocal issues, apparently she’s been lip syncing. There’s a video on YouTube of her backtrack not working, and her mic was NOT even on. It’s starting to look like Kelly should just tour solo. The rest is a mess.
Monica never lip syncs. This is probably one of the reasons why she’s dealing with vocal issues.

I KNOW a pre-recorded vocal (and don’t have a problem with it) when I hear one and saw the show live. Heard no evidence of Monica lip-syncing. Let’s not drag this tour down when it deserves ALL the support. If you’re not interested in seeing the show, just say that.

Hope she gets well soon, but not mad if Mya PERMANENTLY takes her place for the remainder of the tour. Saw her and I can’t get that 20-40 minutes back…
