The rapper joined Robin Roberts on Good Morning America alongside director Alexandria Stapleton to unpack the project, which features rare, never-before-seen clips of Diddy in the tense days leading up to his 2024 arrest.
The pair admitted they were stunned the Bad Boy mogul documented such volatile moments, from stressful calls with lawyers to a shaky stroll through Harlem, where he joked about needing “a bath” after greeting crowds. 50 gave his opinion on that, saying:
“That shows you his character… that was one of the moments where he forgot he was on tape.”
The four-part series also spotlights two previously silent jurors, who reveal why they convicted Diddy and reflect on his turbulent dynamic with ex-partner Cassie. 50 didn’t hold back either, making it clear that:
“I believe Cassie is a victim.”
This sets the stage for a documentary that is sure to dominate headlines.

Cassie was an opportunist
No Cassie was an 18 years old, who signed a 10 album deal. She was groomed. And in the most horrible way possible.
I definitely don’t think Cassie is as innocent as many would like to paint her to be. She didn’t deserve the beatings she got but she does seem like an insecure woman who is easily swayed and down for whatever her lover/partners dictate to her.
So was Teairra Mari. A victim is a victim, whichever way you try and spin it.
Right! 50 will get online and troll women about serious issues all day then act sanctimonious when he’s just in it for the money and to one-up Diddler. He doesn’t care about the crimes and accusations
1000%!!!
Agreed. 50 is only doing this to be petty to diddy. Wasn’t this the same guy who was trolling Meg at one point? But now you believe Cassie?
Omg yes! I forgot about that. He did her dirty…Olivia, Ashanti, Beyonce and Lil Mo too smh.
Let’s get a Surviving50 next!
Yup!!
