The arrival of Beyonce‘s history-making 2023 concert film ‘Renaissance‘ gave Destiny’s Child fans a first-ever glimpse at all five members in one photo – a snap that nearly broke the internet when it first arrived to social media.
Let original member LeToya Luckett have her way, however, there’s hope that one day we will get to see that again.

In a resurfaced clip recently re-posted by our friends at Baller Alert, Luckett – while attending last year’s Recording Academy Honors / Black Music Collective – was quizzed on her thoughts about a super Destiny’s Child reunion tour including herself, Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Kelly Rowland, and LaTavia Roberson.
“I absolutely love all five of us together; that [a tour] would be beautiful,” Luckett relayed. “So, yeah…if God has it then I’m there for it.”
Jokingly, LeToya – now-44-years-old – suggested she hopes the jaunt happens sooner than later.
“Can we not be 65 [years old]? I want my knees to still be intact and work, I want to be able to bend,” she shared laughing.
The clip is making its rounds on socials again and certainly has DC fans buzzing in the process, but only time will tell if it will ever be a reality for Toya and the girls.
Let’s not bring the Lord into your soul-selling lucrative opportunities. All respect for this woman is gone for me. She’d prefer to allow her soul to be purchased….just to kiss the behind of a woman who betrayed her AND made diss music then find her way without compromising morals. Another 1 bites the dust

Only 3 of them will have SOLOS since they won’t be recording anything new. And my ears aren’t good enough to notice a sonic difference between the 5 and the 3 singing at once.😴
There is a stark difference between DC4 and DC3’s sound. DC4 had a pretty harmony. Very smooth and youthful sounding with Le Toya’s sweet soprano on top and LaTavia’s bass at the bottom. LaTavia’s base gave a a T-Boz vibe. Whereas DC3’s sound was bigger and more dynamic. Michelle’s rasp added a gospel vibe and she’s able to sing all three parts. She’s the glue because B&K have similar sounds. It’s also more modern whereas DC4’s more old skool sounding. BASICALLY DC3 demolishes DC4 vocally all three members can sang as Beyonce said!

DC4 was really great, even though LaToya and Latavia didn’t really add much. The songs were mostly Beyoncé (and sometimes Kelly) featuring the other girls.
And even though Beyoncé was still the spotlight in DC3, at least there was space for Kelly and Michelle to shine. They created a great image as a group of 3.
Maybe if Destiny’s Child will ever tour again, it should be DC3, with maybe the other 2 joining for a few songs in Houston.

Love DC5 but that ship has sailed a while ago… LeToya hasn’t toured in forever to keep up with Bey’s stage acrobatics and LaTavia ain’t seeing the rest of them vocally
