Co-chair Bey will headline alongside Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, promising a star-studded red carpet.
The host committee also features heavy-hitters like Doja Cat, Misty Copeland, Lena Dunham, and Teyana Taylor, with new additions including Angela Bassett and Sinéad Burke.
Noted by Vogue, Curator Andrew Bolton shared that:
“What connects every curatorial department and what connects every single gallery in the museum is fashion, or the dressed body. It’s the common thread throughout the whole museum, which is really what the initial idea for the exhibition was.”
Fans and fashion lovers alike are buzzing to see how Beyoncé and the assembled stars interpret the theme, blending couture with fine art in what promises to be a visually unforgettable night.
The 2026 Met Gala takes place on Monday, May 4.

Beyonce is no Rihanna or Solange. She’s a stiff, Satanic robot with no voice or opinion on anything, whose fashion choices leave much to be desired. All Beyonce really can do is perform on a stage. She will bring the views, though, so I do get why they chose her. 🤷🏾♀️
