Fresh from releasing lead single ‘Let Me,’ the three-time GRAMMY winner opened up to Apple Music and pulled back the curtain on what folk can expect from her next full-length project.
Yet titled, the follow-up to ‘Jaguar II’ is co-executive produced by frequent collaborator DJ Camper. She confirmed that it’s due later this year.
Monét teased that love is the heart of the record, so much so that the theme might even make its way into the title. The soundscape promises to be sonically diverse, hinting that it may show off different sides of her artistry.
Her daughter Hazel also gets a spotlight moment, with a feature on a track alongside another artist – a personal touch that adds a sweet twist to the project.
And yes, tunes from this era could get premiered live when she hits the road performing on ‘The Romantic Tour’ with Bruno Mars this summer.
