The set debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 with an impressive 641,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week.
That figure marks the biggest week for a group since the chart shifted to its current methodology in 2014.
Of that total, 532,000 came from pure album sales, driven heavily by physical formats including multiple CD and vinyl editions packed with collectible items. Streaming also played a key role, with the project pulling in over 99 million on-demand streams.
The release becomes the group’s seventh#1 album for BTS, following a streak of chart-toppers that stretches back to 2018.
The blockbuster debut further cements the group’s return era, which has also comprised a seismic Netflix special.
