Opening the show in signature silhouette style, the trio set the tone before launching into a polished performance. The set doubled as a live debut for ‘Leak It,’ their latest single, which included an epic dance break finale.
And the girls did not leave empty-handed. They took home the award for Best R&B/Soul Act, presented to them by the Sugababes’ Keisha Buchanan and Little Mix‘s Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
The win not only celebrates the success of their debut album but also signals the industry’s full embrace of their nostalgic yet new take on R&B.

Lord help us & punish wrongdoers
Thank you, Boo. I was just about to say the same thing. It’s such a shame. The music industry string pullers do not heaux out white women, but they definitely, and intentionally do the sistas. This is why I see so many of us in real life these days, myself not included, looking and acting like heaux. The Cardis, Megans, Dirty Freds, etc are used as weapons. Life imitates Art.
