Lady Gaga and Doechii are on the runway to a big hit if the reception to their unexpected duet is any indication.

The first taste from the forthcoming ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ soundtrack, the tune draws its title from the fictional fashion magazine at the center of the film franchise.

Ahead of the movie’s sashay into theaters, longtime fans were treated to ‘Runway‘ on April 10 to add to the already ample buzz ahead of the ‘DWP2’ arrival on May 1.

With its first full commercial tracking week in its rear view, hop inside to see how the bass-buoyed track performed.

‘Runway’ ran onto this week’s Hot 100 at #50. Here are the numbers that powered its placement.

• Streaming ≈ 5.2 million U.S.-based streams
• Radio Airplay ≈ 5.7 million audience impressions
• Sales ≈ 3,500 digital downloads

Opening at #5 on the Digital Song Sales chart, the handsome download sum attached to the catwalk-ready cut’s first seven days of availability made it the top-selling new song of the week (pure sales).

Co-written by Gaga, Doechii, Bruno Mars, Cirkut, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II, and Andrew Watt, ‘Runway’ also came as the week’s second highest-charting new female song following the Country sensation Ella Langley‘s ‘Bottom of Your Boots‘ (#20).

For Doechii, the ‘DWP2’ tune marks her 9th career entry on the Hot 100 while for Gaga it’s the 48th.
