Chris Brown is facing a fresh legal twist as his ongoing court case takes a dramatic turn.
The singer is currently being sued by his former housekeeper, who claims he should be held liable after she was allegedly attacked by a dog at his Los Angeles home in 2020.

The former housekeeper, named Maria Avila, is suing Brown after being mauled by a dog in his home and Avila is pushing back against efforts to block references to the singer’s 2009 assault case involving Rihanna.
According to TMZ, Brown’s legal team argues that bringing up incidents from over a decade ago is irrelevant and could unfairly sway a jury. Meanwhile, the plaintiff insists that the history could be key in challenging his credibility.
Brown denies any wrongdoing, maintaining that the incident was provoked.
