The emotional moment came after Megan took to Instagram Stories to accuse Thompson of cheating.
She wrote:
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’”
She later confirmed the breakup in a statement, saying trust, fidelity, and respect are “non-negotiable.”
The three-time Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper is currently making her Broadway debut as the first female-identifying performer to play Zidler in the Tony-winning production.
Her eight-week run began March 24 and continues through May 17 at New York’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
