Mel B is opening up about the future of the Spice Girls as the iconic group approaches a major milestone.
With the 30th anniversary of their debut era looming, speculation has been swirling about everything from reunion tours to retrospective projects. Now, the 50-year-old star is addressing the chatter head-on and offering a candid take on what may, or may not, be possible.

Speaking to HELLO!, Mel B revealed that conversations around a potential documentary have taken place, but she made clear that authenticity would be non-negotiable.
“I think we’ve all been asked and were all thinking about it at some point… it has to be done in the right way. It has to be honest — and not everybody wants to be honest.”
As for hopes of a reunion tour to mark the anniversary, she was far more definitive.
“I can tell you it’s not happening.
You can’t be nagging everyone to go on tour if they don’t want to… I laid that to rest when I turned 50.”
While the prospect of hitting the stage again appears unlikely, the ‘Wannabe’ hitmaker stressed that her bond with her bandmates remains strong.
“I wouldn’t be sitting here if it wasn’t for me being part of the Spice Girls… They’ve done a lot for me as a person and in my life.”
Still, when it comes to revisiting that chapter in a live setting, she seems content leaving it in the past.
“I’ve got fond memories, but I don’t know if I would want to go back up on stage.”
