The Hip-Hop icon took to social media after attending an early screening, sharing how deeply the film resonated with her as a fellow artist.

Missy described the movie as both powerful and inspiring, 

Highlighting the behind-the-scenes look at Michael Jackson’s creative process from crafting his sound to curating his iconic style and visuals.

Missy shared:

“Thank you @lionsgate @michaelmovie For opening a theatre early so me and my friends could relive some of our greatest memories with Michael in his different eras from the music to the clothes! It was so great to see his process in the way he heard music and created music The movie made you sing along listening to the soundtrack to many of our lives”
